I am a vastly experienced headteacher, teacher and teacher trainer. I have written chapters for two books on teaching and learning and I have a master's degree in education, with distinction, from the University of Exeter. I also worked as a Director of Educational Research and I am a national expert in teaching English up to GCSE, and I can work with those with special educational needs. I can also support learners to improve their mathematics up to Key Stage 2 and have guided many students through the 11+. I also spent five years working as a TEFL teacher and have taught students from all over the world. I was a designated safeguarding lead.
