Helen Wingrave

I started my professional life as an actress working in Theatre and Television. I trained as a teacher in 2002 and have been teaching ever since - in Schools, Sixth Form and FE Colleges. Drama is my specialism I have taught BTEC, UAL, GCSE, IGCSE, A Levels and IBAC as well as OCR Higher Needs Qualifications for learners with special needs. I am currently employed as Head of Drama in a London Secondary School teaching GCSE and A level Drama. I have delivered AQA, Eduquas, Edexel.

I also coach actors for NYT, Drama School and LAMDA auditions/presentations - I find IN PERSON works best. I have several private clients including professional actors whom I work with for their auditions and self-tapes.

In addition to teaching, I am a Freelance Director and work often with CRITICAL MASS Theatre Company.

I have a Degree in Performing Arts and an MA in Education.

My additional teaching skills are in English Literature having delivered A Level Literature lessons

My personal interests include Theatre, REiki Healing, Travel and my cat
