I am a highly qualified and experienced tutor, having worked in Education for over fifteen years. I am personally educated to doctoral level, with a wide range of academic and vocational qualifications. I have taught from the ages of five upwards, and have taught individuals, dyads, and groups up to 150 students. I continue to lecture internationally, with particular research interests around developmental trauma, recovery from trauma, and 'schoolism' within the therapeutic industry. I have worked as a social worker and psychotherapist for twenty years. I am also a classically-trained harpist and atelier-trained portrait artist, and continue to accept commissions in these fields.
I teach a wide range of subjects, given the extent of my own education. This includes, but is not limited to, anything related to English and Related Literature, Psychotherapy, Counselling, Social Work, Health and Social Care. I also teach painting, portraiture, still life, and most things associated with music, such as songwriting, composing, and music theory.
I particularly enjoy working with students with additional needs, especially mental health or neurodiversity.
